Information

North Carolina bans on placing a wide range of materials went into effect October 1 2009

Randolph County Recycling Center

(428 W. Brower Ave. in Liberty) will accept:

  • Plastic bottles
  • Glass jars
  • Aluminum cans
  • Papers
  • Magazines
  • Flattened cardboard
  • Phone books
  • Oil filters
  • Motor oil
  • Tires

Solid Waste Facility accepts more than 5 tires with properly executed NC Scrap Tire Certification

If you have any comments or concerns regarding these new changes, contact the Randolph County Public Works Department at 336-218-4607.

Liberty Convenience Site

Newspapers, magazines, plastics, paper, aluminum cans, tires, car batteries, used motor oil, filters, and antifreeze can be taken to the recycling at 428 West Brower Avenue.

  • The Liberty Convenience Site is "Open For Business" and operated by Randolph County.
  • Hours: 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm.
  • There will always be a Technician on duty to assist you.
