Vision and Mission Statement

"Protecting the Lives and Property of Our Citizens By Providing the Highest Standard of Service to Our Community."

It is the mission of the Liberty Fire Department to provide the best possible fire, rescue and life safety services. The ultimate goal of each member of this department is to protect lives, prevent injury, save property and make a difference in our community. We strive to meet these goals by providing information and education to all citizens and, as a department, by staying educated, prepared and professional. We take great pride in the services we provide to the citizens of our community, as we value the part we play in the business of helping people.

We have added a link to help our citizens to potential hazard of asbestos that may be present in older homes. This link is provided by the National Asbestos and Mesothelioma Center and was created specifically to be an educational resource to help promote asbestos exposure safety and awareness.

Liberty Fire Department conducts annual inspections for all businesses withing The Town of Liberty and it's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Inspections are conducted by the LFD Fire Marshal Jason Coleman and staff inspectors. You can reach the fire marshal or inspections staff at Liberty Fire Department, 336-736-6330, or email here.

If you are looking for vendors to service fire extinguishers, fire alarms, sprinkler systems or just emergency exit signs and lights, Liberty Fire Department has put together a list here of some that you can call of assistance.

Liberty Fire Department encourages businesses, churches, warehouses, or any type of commercial structure or office to get a keybox to put on the outside of their building in the event there is an emergency where we need to get inside quickly. Emergencies could include fires, fire alarms, sprinkler system malfunctions and medical emergencies. Our ability to get inside quickly without waiting on a key-holder (or forcing entry) can save lives and property.

KnoxBox is one of the leading brands of keyboxes. We will attach it to a place outside of your building or office and put one of your keys inside of it as well as your contact information.

Help us help you by purchasing one of these. This PDF will explain the process.

This link to Knoxbox.com will guide you through the steps to purchase one. If you have any questions as you do so, don't hesitate to contact Liberty Fire Department at 336-622-9050.
